So, ENJOY the season and I'll try to, too!
- RELAX:
- Take a deep, really deep, breathe in through your nose.
- Hold it... 1... 2... 3...
- Then let is sl-o-w-ly out through your mouth.
- Do this a couple of times without becoming dizzy.
- Make a cup of Chamomile Chai Tea to go with a nice Almond Cookie.
- Put you feet up read a great book or watch a wonderful movie.
- WATCH YOUR DIET:
I know you're saying: Yea, right!. Well, just a tiny bit of common sense will help you. Balance all those goodies with lots of water and roughage like salads and go for lower calorie desserts. - STICK WITH THE FAMILIAR:
This is not the time of year to impress everyone with all of the new dessert recipes you found. People actually expect your dessert standards like Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. Or at the very least, if you just have to try something new, try a simple, yet very tasty recipe like Pumpkin Dump Cake. - SHARE THE WORK AND THE FUN:
Want to impress everyone with all those different cookies you baked? DON'T! Why not have (or even better, talk someone else into hosting) a Cookie Exchange. You get lots of different types of cookies by only baking one kind. And best of all you get to have fun with your friends. - ENJOY:
Take the time to spend with your friends and family. Take the time to do something very special for yourself. You deserve it!!
