Greetings, fellow sweet lovers. There is nothing like making a dessert for someone to make them feel special.
Cooking has always been a major part of my life from living with my parents to my married life today. Mom cooked multi-coursed meals and Dad baked breads and made pastries. My speciality is baking desserts. Since I was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter, I've been creaming my butters and sugars. I married a chef who came from an ethnic, Italian and Greek, cooking household. Together, we owned and operated a successful catering and personal chef service called What's For Dinner? Inc. I co-chaired and edited a community cookbook. These days, I am writing a family history, through recipes, book and am teaching a very interested 2-year-old, daughter, how to have fun baking.
Each week I will focus on all the aspects of baking and making desserts from helpful hints to seasonal baking to international desserts to Chocolate! to freezing desserts to baking with kids and cookie exchanges. I look forward to exchanging recipes and answering any baking questions.
