Orange Sweet Rolls

How simple can you get with a combination of orange juice and refrigerated biscuits?

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 orange, zest and juice
  • less than 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2- 10 ounce packages refrigerated biscuits

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 10-inch tube pan. Combine sugar and orange zest in wide bowl with low sides. Juice orange into measuring cup. Add enough already-prepared orange juice to make 1/3 cup. Pour into another bowl and add melted butter.

Separate biscuits. Roll each one in butter mixture. Then roll into sugar mixture. Place biscuits in pan standing on edge. Placing flat edges together. Pour any remaining butter mixture over top.

Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 1 minute. Invert onto serving place. Serve warm.
