Praline Sauce

This recipe for Praline Sauce is perfect over ice cream, bread pudding, a plain piece of cheesecake, waffles, pancakes or even French Toast.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan pieces, lightly toasted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in pan, except butter. Cook over medium heat just until boiling. Remove from heat and stir-in butter. Will keep indefinately in tightly-sealed jar.
