Beer Bread

Here is a recipe from my Aunt Mary.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 - 12 ounce bottle or can of beer
  • 1/4 cup butter

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bread loaf pan. Mix all ingredients, except butter, together. Pour in pan and bake for 25 minutes. Melt butter. Remove from oven and brush top with butter. Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes longer. Cool at least 20 minutes before cutting.
