Of all of the pie flavors, Apple Pie is the most popular.

Ingredients:
- prepared double pie crust
- 7 cups cored, peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- milk
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees f. Place one piece of pastry in bottom of glass pie plate. Mix the rest of the ingredients except the butter and milk. Place apple mixture in bottom crust. Cut butter into little pieces and sprinkle over apples. Top pie with a lattice or fluted crust. Flute edges. Paint crust with milk. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cover outside of crust to prevent burning. Finish baking pie for 25 to 30 minutes.
