2010 has been a great year for new cookbooks, products and one really exciting documentary involving baking.
1. Cookbook Review - Bake! Essential Techniques for Perfect Baking
2. Cupcakes from the Primrose Bakery
Cupcakes are the latest trend in individual desserts. If you want to keep up with the times, Cupcakes from the Primrose Bakery is the perfect cookbook to get you started in making interestingly beautiful and tasty cupcakes.
3. Cookie Cutters from Ann Clark Ltd.
4. Baking with Friends
5. Kings of Pastry
In the age of reality television and movies, this is definitely my brand of reality. Who needs fictional stories when you've got real-life drama right here? The film Kings of Pastry, follows Jacquay Pfeiffer from the French Pastry School in Chicago, along with 15 other chefs, in their journey to win the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (M.O.F.) or the Best Craftsman in France competition.
6. I Hate to Cook Book
The I Hate to Cook Book, the 50th Anniversay Edition of the American Classic, is my kind of cookbook. It brings back so many memories of growing-up and some of the food we ate. It was a time before fast food restaurants, and dinner had to be made every single night.
