I always have the ingredients for this fudge on hand.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 pound box of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted

PREPARATION:

Line a loaf pan with aluminum foil. Grease with butter.
Melt butter in top of double boiler over simmering water. Add cocoa, stir until mixed. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the nut. Stir until smooth and sugar has melted. Stir in the nuts.
Quickly spread in loaf pan. Cool and cut into 1 inch squares.
