Make any cake or cupscakes straight from the oven taste better with this recipe for Hot Fudge Icing.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1/4 cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 1 pound powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add in cocoa and milk. Stir in powdered sugar. Add vanilla. Continue to stir until frosting is smooth. Spread icing on cake straight from the oven.

Makes enough icing for one 9x13 sheet pan.
