This recipe for Chocolate Buttercream Icing is a good one to keep on hand.
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound box (3-3/4 cups) powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
In medium bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa and salt. Set aside. Cream butter. Add milk and vanilla. Slowly add sugar mixture. Beat until creamy. If too thick, more milk may be added.
