For icing cakes use this Boiled Buttermilk Frosting on a hot or warm cake.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup (4 ounces) butter
- 1 tablespoon white corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
Boil all ingredients except vanilla for about 5 minutes, remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over hot cake.<p>Icing cakes.
