Not only is this a quick and easy frosting, but it can also be made low sugar and/or low fat too.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 3 Cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope whipped topping mix
  • 4-serving sized instant pudding mix*, any flavor
  • 1-1/2 cups cold milk
  • food coloring, optional

Preparation:

With an electric mixer, beat mixes and milk until combined. Continue to beat for 4 to 6 minutes until soft peaks form.

Makes about 3 cups or enough to frost two 8 or 9-inch cake layers, 9x13 cake or 24 cupcakes.

Sugar free pudding may also be used.
