Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (5 ounce) instant Butterscotch pudding mix
- ----
- 1 portion (apprx. 1 cup) of Friendship Bread Starter
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or cinnamon extract
- ----
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- Cinnamon Sugar Mixture
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour (works best with flour-oil spray) two 8x4-inch loaf pans. Combine the first set of ingredients in a large bowl with a wire whisk. In a medium bowl, combine the second set of ingredients. Mix well. To the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Stir in the chips. Carefully, divide batter between the prepared pans. Sprinkle tops of batter with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.
