How to Package Them

The next time you want to send a frosted cupcake with your child to school or put a few in a picnic basket instead of putting the frosting on the top, slice open the middle and put it there. This way the icing doesn't get stuck to the plastic wrap or all over the inside of a container. This also works great for freezing and they should last about 3 months.

Directions:

  • Slice open your already cooled cupcake
  • Frost the inside
  • Put the halves back together
  • Wrap in plastic wrap
  • Put in lunchbox or in picnic basket
  • Or
  • Place in freezer bag and place in freezer.
