Here's a quick and easy recipe for Super Easy Chocolate Frosted Cookies. Just pull out your reserved cookie dough from the freezer to make as many as desired.
Yield: Depends on Cookies Made
Ingredients:
- your favorite cookie dough
- small square wrapped candies (such as Andes Candies, Ghiradelli Squares, Hershey's Miniatures, etc.)
- Optional toppings:
- chopped and lightly toasted nuts
- coconut
- mini M&M'S®
- etc.
Preparation:
Bake cookie dough according to recipe instructions. While hot from oven, press a chocolate square into top of cookie. Return to oven and continue baking for 10 seconds. Remove baking pan from oven. Swirl chocolate on top of cookie. Sprinkle with nuts, coconut or other toppings. Allow cookies to set on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to cooling rack to finish cooling.
