I still treasure my very first cookbook: Betty Crocker's Cook Book for Boys and Girls, published in 1957. (My favorite sandwich is found on page 121.) It was such a popular cookbook that they reprinted it in 2003. Amazingly, you can purchase both versions online.

Emeril's There's a Chef in My Soup

I guess we're raising her right. Emeril's There's a Chef in My Soup is our daughter's first cookbook. I'm excited to say that there is a small container of Baby Bam on the top of my refrigerator. Loretta put it there for easy access when cooking dinner for us. (I also think she put it there to keep us out of it.)
