Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes

Yield: 16 to 20 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, lightly toasted

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • ---
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pound powdered sugar

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle pecans and coconut over bottom of pan. Mix together cake mix, water and eggs. Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Drop cream cheese mixture over batter using a big spoon. Don't stir. Bake for 45 minutes.

Too much Sugar, Member lefturnracr

I cut the sugar in half the second time and the chocolate taste was so much better. I also used walnuts because I didn't have pecans.
