Ingredients:
- 18 ounce box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 4 eggs, divided
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9x13 baking pan. Combine cake mix and butter with pastry blender until crumbly. Hand stir in 2 eggs. Press mixture into prepared pan. With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese. Gradually add powdered sugar. Once combined add vanilla. Hand stir in chopped nuts. Spread on unbaked crust. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut Ooey Gooey Butter Cake into pieces.
