Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) margarine*, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 5 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour standard tube or shaped pan. Cream sugar and margarine. Alternately add eggs and flour, then add vanilla. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Serving Suggestion: Lil always lightly toasts each piece of pound cake prior to serving. This really heightens the flavor.
