Jiffy Cake is a simple from-scratch cake.

Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup toasted walnuts
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 large eggs
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan. Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer with a large bowl, put ingredients in order as given. Beat on high for 5 minutes with hand mixer or on medium speed with stand mixer. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in this from scratch cake in the pan.
