Applesauce Cake

1 cup sugar
1 cup cold applesauce
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in 1 Tbsp warm water)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins
2 cups all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Grease and flour a 11x7x1-1/2 inch pan. In large bowl stir together all the above ingredients except the flour.  Add flour; mix well.  Pour into prepared pan.  Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
