"A New York (official) ice cream soda: Put about 2-3 tablespoons Fox's U-Bet Chocolate syrup in the bottom of a tall glass. Add 1/4 cup milk. Fill with seltzer. Add favorite ice cream. If you do not want chocolate soda you can substitute another flavor syrup (coffee, strawberry, etc.) The measurements are approximate. You need to taste and adjust."

"An ice cream soda (float) is just ice cream and soda/pop/soft drink... whatever you all it in your part of the country... or in the case of a chocolate ice cream soda, you put a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream in a tall glass, add chocolate syrup and fill the glass with Club soda... add whipped cream and a cherry if you like. I like to add a bit of the club soda and mix it with the ice cream to thicken it and then add more soda. Cherry soda would be maraschino cherry syrup, club soda and vanilla ice cream. Root beer Floats/black cows are vanilla ice cream and root beer. I grew up on old fashioned fountain sodas and nothing can beat them!!!"
