Ingredients:
- 1 pound butter, softened
- 1 pound box dark brown sugar
- 1 pound box powdered sugar
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- rum*
- boiling water
Preparation:
Cream butter and sugars. Add ice cream, but mix gently. Put into freezer container. Freeze overnight.To serve: In a mug, put 2 to 3 tablespoons of mixture. Add 1 jigger of rum and enough boiling water to fill mug. Stir.
*For a non-alcoholic version, substitute 1 teaspoon rum extract or flavoring.
