1 lb margarine, softened
3¼ C sugar
Add, alternately, beating well each time:
10 ea eggs
4 C all-purpose four
Stir in:
2 t vanilla extract
Bake at 325° in 3 prepared 9 cake pans, for 45 min.
In heavy skillet brown:
½ C sugar
Add and cook until mixture begins to boil:
2½ C sugar
¾ C evaporated milk
¾ C margarine
1 T white corn syrup
1 t vanilla extract
Remove from heat and beat until thick enough to spread.
