February 8th is National Girl Scouts Cookie Day. I have certainly enjoyed the eleven years I've been involved with the Girl Scouts along with my daughter. Sadly, it is coming to the end. My daughter just received the highest honor you can get as a Girl Scout. She got the Gold Award after completing a lengthy community service project. The same pin that is on the pictured Thin Mint is the what is given to Gold Award recipients.
My daughter will be starting college in the fall, so I won't be involved in selling Girl Scout Cookies. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be buying cookies from other Girl Scouts. In fact, I don't know many people who don't look forward to there favorite Girl Scout Cookies each year. Be sure to celebrate National Girl Scouts Cookie Day with some tasty Girl Scout Cookies.
