Pecan Pie

Pecan PieHere is just one of the pies I'm going to bake for Thanksgiving. This Pecan Pie is a bit different from most as it's not as sweet. On other pies, I only wanted to eat the nuts off the top. This recipe for Pecan Pie has a rich and buttery filling, and it's not in the least bit sickly sweet.

I'll let you know in a couple of days about the other pie I'm making. We're eating at a friend's house and I'm planning to surprise her with this pie. Shh! I just found out it's her very favorite. Oops, I hope she doesn't read this posting.
