Two New Recipe Features Just for You!

Monday November 17, 2008
Meal PlannerYou've been asking for it, and here it is. About.com, and Campbell's, now offer a place for you to store recipes called Meal Planner. It allows you to save recipes and create menus in a simple calendar format. You'll be able to find the Meal Planner on all of our recipes pages. The recipes in the Meal Planner are from all the food sites on About.com and a selection of them come from Campbell’s. It's easy to use. All you have to do to register is add 5 recipes to your Meal Planner, but once registered, your recipes will be saved for up to 12 months. In addition to the Meal Planner, we now have a What’s for Dinner Tonight area that features a daily recipe from About.com or Campbell’s. These recipes will appear on all of the main pages of the food sites.

Back by popular demand is the annual About.com food site's holiday Virtual Cookie Exchange. Along with my regular blogs, I'll be featuring cookie recipes from my sister About.com food sites. Everyone, myself included, should be able to find and make at least one new cookie recipe to try this holiday season.

Virtual Cookie Exchange
Our guide to Greek food has a special recipe for Melomakarona, which is a traditional Greek holiday cookie made with cinnamon and cloves, soaked in a honey syrup, and sprinkled with sesame seeds, walnuts, and cinnamon.
