Passover Begins at Sundown Tonight

Monday April 2, 2007
The challenge in making desserts during Passover is keeping kosher. Part of keeping Kosher is the avoidance of flour (except matzo) and any foods that contain leavening agents, like yeast and baking soda. Some Jews may also avoid cornstarch, corn syrup, legumes and extracts made with grain alcohol.

Some of the Jewish Holiday Desserts you'll find on this site are: Chocolate Farfel-Nut Clusters,Frozen Passover Dessert and Passover Confectioners' Sugar.
