My brownies came out much drier than I expected. Also, they humped in the pan…looked I had baked something erotic.

I’m sorry your brownies didn’t turn-out like they should have. Maybe they were cooked too long. Also, you may have an oven like I had. The temperature was off by about 25 degrees too warm. You may wish to purchase an oven thermometer and check it. Ovens can be re-calibrated. I just lived with mine as it was (for several years) until I got a new one.
