During the cold winter months, my very favorite restaurant dessert is at On The Border. They call it Sizzling Apple Crisp. You can make your own version that is even better. Just make this recipe for Apple Crisp. Top your warm piece of Apple Crisp with Caramel Rum Sauce and serve it with a good vanilla ice cream like homemade Royal Crown Vanilla.
