J.R. writes: "Hi Carroll, I am a male baker and use a bundt pan a lot. I have a heavy one with the ribs on the inside. I spray it with Pam and it sticks sometimes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks."

"Hello JR, I've found that Bundt cake pans have to be greased with solid shortening (Crisco) and floured. I've heard that people also have luck with a spray product called "Baker's Joy". It's a spray that already has the flour in it. I haven't tried it, because I'm stubborn and prefer the old fashioned way that works for me every time. If you're interested, I wrote about Baking with Bundt® Pans. It has lots of tips and recipes for Bundt® Pans. Enjoy!
