It's Christmas Eve!

Here's another busy day before the BIG day - Christmas. We're having our Christmas Eve dinner at 3pm today. We celebrate Festa dei Sette Pesci, the Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes, a tradition in my husband's family. We should have seven courses of fish, but since there are only 3 of us, we're only having 3. We'll start with Oysters Rockefeller (the only way my daughter will eat spinach.) Then it's Clam Casino followed by pasta with a clam sauce. After stuffing ourselves we're going to the 6:30pm Christmas Mass. We can’t wait to hear our daughter sing with the Junior Choir. Afterwards, we're going to ride around and look at the lights and then head home for dessert. I still haven't decided what that will be yet. There’s nothing like waiting until the last minute.
